Meet the Staff

North Central Cyclery is locally owned and family operated by Paul Family Cyclery, LLC which includes Lyle, Marty, Michael and Justeen Paul. The business was purchased on 10/29/15. Lyle and Marty, Michael's parents, have lived in DeKalb County for 40 years. Michael and Justeen were raised in this area and are graduates of Sycamore High School. Their daughters, Thalia and Corinn, are also Sycamore High School graduates, with Corinn attending NIU, and Justeen and Thalia NIU Alumni.

Both Michael and Justeen are both avid cyclists and triathletes and Ironman finishers, and Michael has a history in BMX racing. The family has strong ties to the community as a whole, as well as to the local running, cycling and triathlon community. The Paul family opened this business that would fit their combined strengths, passion and match their activity, and at the same time benefit others, individually and community wide. As cyclists, and multisport athletes, Michael and Justeen understand the needs of the athlete, as well as the benefit of activity in general for the person as a whole. Join any local organized ride, and you'll most likely see Marty there!  The entire Paul family is excited and committed to serving their hometown DeKalb County with the best service possible.
